Some DC books like Batman and Robin went out in the most lackluster manner before the DC relaunch, but a few like Justice and Batgirl had some very nice meta endings to leave on. The legacy heroes actually having their predecessors move up to take on their roles is the biggest loss that is going to be suffered when DC reboots their continuity. Having the promise of Dick Grayson take of the role of Batman made for some incredible stories. I’m hopeful that the new DC books will be good, but it does suck to be losing such great titles as Detective Comics in it’s current form.
